PGSA Field Lights Capital Campaign

As Pitt-Greenville Soccer Association continues to fulfill its non-profit mission to provide high-quality youth soccer opportunities throughout the community, improvements to our existing club-owned facility (PGSA Soccerplex) are necessary to accommodate the growth we have experienced and to provide the level of services our members deserve.

Lighting fields 2, 3, and 6 at the PGSA Soccerplex will allow our club to practice at our home facility all year round, saving each team hundreds of dollars per season. Having competition-level lighting on our largest three fields will also allow PGSA to host evening and night games, which will not only allow more flexibility in scheduling home games for the Classic League, but it also will create an opportunity to generate an additional income stream for the club by allowing the opportunity to rent our fields to outside teams for competition as we deem appropriate.

We have a big goal to reach. It will cost approximately $660,000 to light fields 2, 3, and 6, and provide funds for additional energy and field maintenance costs. There are a few Pitt County businesses that have expressed an interest in matching the funds that we can raise, but they have asked to first see our commitment before moving forward. Your charitable donation will help this much-need field lighting project become a reality, which will greatly enhance the development of the PGSA soccer programs for years to come.
